You did it!

Congratulations to everyone who took part in our 10K at Blaise Castle, Bristol, in what is the only off-road event in the Women’s Running 10K Race Series. This two-lap course offered scenic and varied terrain through the woods and ensured that runners got to enjoy a wide mix of surfaces while they ran. Well done to our winner, Rebecca Awde, from Bristol, who completed the course in 42:36, as well as Rebecca Browne from Lancaster who ran it in 46:21, while Jennifer Ford from Bradford-on-Avon came third in a time of 46:28.

In a true friendly spirit of the WR10K Race Series, race participant Shona Darley, who was celebrating her 40th birthday, was presented with a birthday cake on the stage by WR Editor-in-Chief Chris Macdonald. Many thanks to chef and author, Kate Percy, who wrote the highly-acclaimed book Go Faster Foods, who also baked the cake for Shona. We hope Shona has devoured the cake by the time you read this report as it looked delicious!
